Description: CSE was able to serve trans and GNC folks at our second trans employment clinic. We offered training in gaining and maintaining employment with workshops on resume writing, navigating presentation anxiety in the workplace, mock interviews, and more. Immediately following the clinic we hosted a trans friendly job fair and resource bank where folks were able to connect with much needed stop gap resources as well as connecting with local trans friendly employers.

Location: A-B Tech, 340 Victoria Rd., Asheville, NC 28801

Description: At CSE’s LGBT in the South Conference we were able to serve over 200 folks at the Direct Services Pop-Up Clinic. Services accessed ranged from one-on-one consultations with a surgeon for trans folks, advanced healthcare directives, HIV testing, micro grants to help cover living expenses for trans folks, information about medicaid expansion, peer counseling, chaplaincy services, financial literacy support, resource navigation, and much more.

Description: At CSE’s annual LGBT* in the South conference, we were proud to host a series of CLE workshops for attorneys from across the region to learn about the latest developments in LGBT law and build their advocacy skills and cultural competency.
